If you are reading about my collaboration with Yetunde Sarumi for the first time, this will be a good way to draw you in. Yesterday, I woke up to a feature on Style Vitae titled "Fun Ankara Style Inspiration from Memkoh" featuring the Yetunde Sarumi pieces I've styled. I am extremely grateful to the Style Vitae team for the feature, Yetunde Sarumi for the entire collaboration and of course, to you my awesome audience. I don't think I thank you enough, but here's one. :)

Day 1: Jumpsuit Perfection
A nice jumpsuit is always a good idea...extra points for it being made by a designer who understands that a jumpsuit is not an upscale leotard. Trust me, not all jumpsuits are forgiving in the crotch area, something I always look out for in brands that jumpsuits. Major proof that Yetunde Sarumi's work is impeccable.
Day 2: Dress me all the way UP!
A good dress should be two things: Classy and Fabulous. Whoops!
Coco Chanel, I'm sorry but our presidential candidates are making plagiarism an ok thing. I should be fine, right?
This dress, ladies, is one for the books! Hurry now because it'll sell out sooner than you think.
Day 3: Coat Frenzy
Who doesn't love a good coat? Scratch that. Who won't love a coat that doubles as a dress? The Resa Dress/Coat by Yetunde Sarumi will make you stand out, as not many people will have it. Also, you'll totally want to live in them because african fabric is very breathable. Finally, I would not trade these colors for anything!
Day 4: Even More Coat Frenzy
Meet the Resa Dress/Coat again. Isn't she awesome and colorful? Which of the looks would you rock (L or R?)
Day 5: Dress like a Darling...
And that's just what this dress was, an absolute darling! I love the colors and placement of the pattern on this dress. It takes a really good designer to decipher that.
It's always nice to have more options, so here are 2 more looks you'll find useful.
a) Weekender - Picture a perfect weekend getaway, with your cami mimicking the color of the ocean your hotel room balcony is facing, and your skirt ready to show its vibrant self to the locals once you step out. Just tell them it's by Yetunde Sarumi :D
b) Funky Prints - Mix your African print items, not minding whether they match or not. Mixing prints takes your style game to a whole new level, and your confidence too. You should try it.
That's it for now. I hope you've found inspiration for your new African print clothes.
