Hello again! It's the long-awaited second part of our Memkoh x MemkohMen collaboration series. This project was so exciting as I outlined in Part 1 and I am grateful for all the good reviews so far. Keep them coming and please share these posts to as many people as you can.
Outfit 1 was a dressy but casual his and hers look. We built on that momentum for outfit 2, keeping everything simple. It's just how we both are. I refuse to put our looks in a box and tell you what it is or what it isn't, but we both hope you realize that you can look darling in the simplest of clothing items.
There was an incredible air of effortlessness, which comes from the confidence we both exuded during the shoot. We put these looks together individually and only when we were getting ready to shoot did we know what each person was wearing. But the overall energy and confidence among us sealed the deal. That's what I want you to take away from this collaboration. It doesn't matter what you wear (cue Kanye's Ratatouille-inspired line) or how much it costs. All that matters is how you wear it. The first how is the way you put your outfits together. The second and most important how is the manner in which you carry yourself.
When we stepped out to shoot, I found a mailbox, and a "How We Met" story unfolded. Honestly, I don't think this "story" would have played out nicely if not for our photo crew. "Get closer!!! You guys should look into each other's eyes. Stand this way...". They hyped, directed and cheered on during the shoot. It's my most exciting shoot to date and I thank every single one of them.
You'll see why.
