It's a few days to the 18th Annual African Business Conference at Harvard Business School. You are getting ready to pack your bags, but what outfits should you really take with you?

I'm here to help.

Day 1:

Packed with excitement, the welcome event "General Networking Reception" is your first opportunity to put your best foot forward. Friday is a little relaxed in the corporate world, but at an event like this, you are far from relaxed. Here's a good outfit to put you at ease.

Day 2:

Today, you're going to do even more networking, together with attending a career fair and various panel sessions. You want to be at these events exuding the maximum possible level of confidence while dressed in something you're totally comfortable in. Take a briefcase or chic portfolio work bag as appropriate. You'll need it for those resumes.

Day 2/3:

Signaling the end of any conference is a closing plenary session and/or party. In this case, HBC brings you both. So right after those Panel Sessions, Career Fair and Startup Showcase, you'll be partying the night away with Iyanya, Sarkodie and Dj Deemaks will spin it all together. Major Keys, if you ask me.

And here's what you'll transform into once Iyanya & Sarkodie come on. P.s. I can imagine this young lady is listening to Rihanna's "Work". Finally getting to bust some moves after alllodatconferenceinspiration.

In all these looks, you can throw a blazer or coat over them; you will need to, anyway because Boston is no Florida. Have fun & make useful connections!

Remember, you are going there to stand out, not blend in. Memkoh
