Pink for BCA & Giveaway!

"pssshhhh brea---whaatt? I barely have any of those" Once upon a time, those were my thoughts whenever talks about Breast Cancer came around. But this month, I have become active in spreading awareness about Breast Cancer, starting with a #4WaystoWear Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness to this post on the last day of October because regardless of the size of your girls or your size, skin color, hair color, teeth color, Breast Cancer is an issue of concern to all women. It could affect any of us or anyone close to us so awareness is vital. See here for monthly Breast Self-Exam.

The outfit you are about to see was inspired by my favorite outfit from my #4WaystoWear Pink for BCA and you can find it with all other sets this month, on StyleMeAfrica.

To create awareness and show support to the fallen soldiers of this battle and those still fighting, we wear Pink in October, the official Breast Cancer Awareness month.

I am totally in love with this clutch and bracelet set from L'Aviye. You won't believe it's made with African print. Link below.

Skirt: Missguided. Selling mine here (Size 4) || Crop top: Nastygal || Shoes: JustFab || Clutch and Bracelet: L'Aviye || Trench coat (old): H&M

*Not one of the above pictures were edited (not even cropped) partly because I didn't want to go through that trouble but mostly because it dawned on me that Breast Cancer strikes without warning and leaves room for little to no "edits". The only edit we can accord ourselves is to perform our monthly Breast Self-Exam religiously.

Once again, I'm wishing for strength to all women battling with breast cancer.

Like you just saw above, look into your closet and take a picture of yourself in an outfit inspired by any 4 Ways to Wear post of your choice. Make sure you add your flavor to it. Notice how I wore a white structured crop top instead of gray and navy blue pumps instead of purple. It's the same concept of light and dark, I just made do with what I had and you should too. See the 4WaystoWear section StyleMeAfrica website for all posts. Entries (clear pictures only) should be uploaded to an open Instagram account with the tags #4WaystoWear and #StyledbyMemkoh. All entries will be featured on and the winner will be announced on Saturday, November 8, 2014. See gift here.

Have fun with it and Good luck! :) Memkoh
