Outfit #4 - Sporty
You've probably seen some of these pictures in my Personal Reflection article. I didn't plan that but I'm so happy they were befitting for that post. This was probably the funniest photo session which makes sense because it was the last in my birthday photo shoot series. Like I mentioned in the 1st post, I had six outfits in mind but some clothes did not arrive in time. I'll use them for subsequent posts.
For this look, I intended to look sporty with a crop top, ankle-fitted sweatpants and lace up spike-studded sneakers. I hate spiky studs on shoes and bags, I never owned Vans or Converses (not my type of shoes) and sweatpants are a huge no for me (imagine your professors showing up in them). Only the sneakers arrived.
Though little, this goes to show that most times, no matter how much we calculate and plan, things unfold in their own unique way. Anticipating that something will always go wrong is a good state of mind to have when planning an event so that when the drama eventually happens, you'll spring into action instead of worrying. Remember, "Worrying is like a rocking chair: it gives you something to do but never gets you anywhere" - Erma Bombeck
This shoot was really fun and the choice of location made it all the better. Seeing families together, people working out, relaxing and even running into one of my professors taking a stroll showed how much of a serene location this was.
Thank you! And Special Thank you to my awesome photographer, Just Joy.
